Want to speak or contribute as a panelist, common questions covered here
We are still accepting proposals to speak, competition is fierce and we do not accept platform centric and promotional presentations.
We are pleased to offer our speakers a comprehensive set of benefits to thank them for their contribution and elevate their experience:
In special cases, where an industry veteran’s presence adds significant value but employer funding isn’t available, we may be able to offer partial travel subsidies with support from our sponsors and partners.
While we can’t guarantee assistance, we encourage requests for the minimum required amount to attend. Subsidised speakers are expected to actively engage throughout the event.
Whilst we aim to record most sessions at our events, bitter experience has taught us that quality recordings are not guaranteed to be available. Where they are available we provide them to speakers to use as they like (with credit ) after an embargo period where they are only available to paid emailexpert members and delegates.
Yes, subject to final confirmation.
We hope we will have a hybrid element to the event meaning those unable to attend in person can contribute content that can be viewed by delegates and others.

We’re thrilled to announce that the Barcelona Deliverability Summit 2026 will be hosted at La Pedrera, one of Antoni Gaudí’s most celebrated architectural masterpieces and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This iconic Barcelona landmark, also known as Casa Milà, is one of the city’s most visited tourist attractions and provides a truly spectacular backdrop for our premier email deliverability conference.
La Pedrera’s unique modernist architecture and central Barcelona location make it the perfect venue for bringing together email industry professionals, engineers, platform architects, compliance leaders, and strategists from around the globe. The venue’s distinctive design and world-renowned status reflect our commitment to delivering an equally exceptional conference experience.
La Pedrera is centrally located in Barcelona’s Eixample district, easily accessible by public transportation and within walking distance of many hotels and restaurants.
Thursday April 23 2026 is a mjor Barcelona festival. St. George’s Day (Sant Jordi) is one of Barcelona’s most beloved and unique festivals, celebrated annually on April 23rd. Here’s what this special day is all about:
Sant Jordi, or St. George, is the patron saint of Catalonia and the Diada de Sant Jordi, St George’s Day, is a festive occasion that has become a celebration of Catalan culture. Despite being a working day, it is regarded as one of Catalan national holidays due to its popularity.
The celebration stems from the famous legend of Saint George and the dragon. The legend goes that there was a town once terrorised by a fearsome dragon that demanded a daily tribute of livestock and, eventually, human sacrifices. When the king’s daughter was chosen as the next victim, the brave knight Saint George appeared and fought the dragon. He slew the beast with a single blow from his lance, and where the dragon’s blood spilled, a beautiful rosebush bloomed.
On this day, it is custom for couples to exchange gifts: the men receive a book and the women receive a rose. However, this has developed over time, so both men and women can receive books and roses. In fact, it is a celebration of culture and love, represented by books and roses.
During this festival period, Barcelona transforms into an enormous open-air bookshop and flower shop. The streets are filled with roses, books and people who are looking for a present not only for their loved one, but also for family and friends. The main meeting point in Barcelona is the Rambla, which is packed from end to end with book and flower stalls.
It is also easy to enjoy the ‘sardanas’ (traditional dances) and the popular ‘castells’ (human towers) throughout the day in places such as the Plaza Sant Jaume. The sardana, the national dance of Catalonia, is performed throughout the day in the Plaça Sant Jaume in Barcelona.
Sant Jordi day is also an opportunity to visit buildings such as the Town Hall, the Palau Güell, the art nouveau complex of Sant Pau, the Ateneo and the Palau de la Generalitat, where special activities or open days with free tours are usually organised 23 April is also one of only three days a year when the Palau de la Generalitat, Catalonia’s principal government building, is open to the public. The interior is decorated with roses to honour Saint George.
This is why many balconies in the city are decorated with the senyera, the Catalan flag, as they are on other key national dates. The festival also has international importance – in 1995, UNESCO’s General Assembly declared 23rd April World Book and Copyright Day, largely inspired by Catalonia’s unique tradition.
Sant Jordi perfectly combines romance, literature, and Catalan culture, making it Barcelona’s equivalent to Valentine’s Day but with a distinctly literary and cultural twist that’s uniquely Catalan.
